Asolare has provided residencies since 1995 of various lengths to choreographer Ralph Hewitt, writer Eric Myers (who wrote most of his recently published book "Uncle Mame" here), Mexican painter Jorge Reyes, composer John Appleton, and screen play writer Jerome Loston.
Residents are housed in either the three bedroom house with shared bath and kitchen, or in the studio apartment, all located on Asolare's 50 wooded acres in the piedmont of North Carolina.
